Courtship Behaviour of Coppersmith Barbet

“Amazing courtship display of two coppersmith barbets..jumping from one tree to another and cooing each other with flapping of wings. The pair was perching on twigs as their love affair continued. The male then started fluttering its wings and spread the tail feathers as a fan. While fluttering it constantly moved its body and head just to attract the female. The cycle of getting closer, with occasional lip lock, fluttering of wings continued for a while now after which both the pair flew away to a distant tree calling.”
