It was about 7.15 am and a lot of activity was noticeable among the reed beds….baya weavers, prinias, ziting cisticolas, striated grassbirds, pied starling baibies screeching out from almost everywhere, with black and cinnamon Bitterns flying in and out from inside the reeds.
This pair alighted right in front of me on a twig and I was only too happy to catch them in their act..”
