A businessman by profession, his association with wildlife dates back to his childhood days when he used to walk the forests of Baikunthapur Division with their family estate malis. He took to birdwatching towards the late 90s. Quite a few of his articles have been published in national and international journals.
Sujan Chatterjee has been birding for the last 35 years. He has travelled all over India and across various continents for birding. He has seen more than 1000 species of birds in India and 3000+ species across the globe. He has been part of various surveys, projects and findings.
A meteorologist with the Govt. of India, Mousumi Dutta has been a keen birdwatcher for over 20 years. Has travelled to many corners of India pursuing her passion.

As the brood took to their profession, and the nest turned empty, it was time for Amitava Dutta to indulge in things he has always been passionate about. Thus, began a new journey since 2015, into the wild. Changed course into birding, exploring nature, contributing to wildlife conservation, and driving expeditions. The swinging sixties has so far been an absolutely invigorating and enriching phase!
Bhaskarjyoti is a senior project manager at a premium furniture brand company. He loves nature and is an amateur birdwatcher and photographer. Bhaskar hates plastic pollution in pristine landscapes.
Brian originally hails from the coastal town of Mangalore but is now a permanent resident of Kolkata. He is an amateur bird watcher, photographer and nature lover. An avid traveller, he takes his passion with him wherever he goes.
Dipak Nag is one of the senior-most members of the society. He started bird-watching as a hobby soon after his retirement in 1992. He got seriously interested in birds after the birding trips to Bharatpur and Chilika. Subsequently, in his visits to USA, he had observed lots of birds from the hummingbirds to condors.
A wildlife biologist by profession and amateur wildlife photographer by passion. Upamanyu loves to explore and conserve nature with all her components. He has worked as a research biologist at Wildlife Institute of India and is currently working on elephants as an individual researcher. Upamanyu is an amateur bird-watcher but he admits that it was mainly birds which got him interested in wildlife research.
